I’ve had innumerable conversations with my friends about why I’ve stuck with my Sony XBR960 CRTV television (ie tube-based television), a model that’s often called the last great tube-based tv, despite it being only 32″ in this age of 46 and 52″ televisions. What about plasmas? I have a 50″ plasma, and haven’t seen any lag in games.

Hey Matt,
It may be there without you realizing it’s affecting you (you just thought you were aging and suck ;-), or you might have a tv that doesn’t have the problem. Generally plasmas are known to be better with input lag than LCD are. There’s a thread over here:
