Santa brought me a wicked cold for christmas. I haven’t been sick in over 3 years, so I guess I was due. Still, it’s no fun. Sadists can enjoy webcam shots of me suffering on my living room floor watching endless hours of tv. Always one to look for the positive side, I’ll note that I’ve watched quite a few excellent movies, including The Chumbscrubber, Enron: the smartest guys in the room, Serenity, The Constant Gardener, Oldboy, plus a couple of others I’ve already forgotten. I also think I’m on the road to recovery since my head is feeling slightly less foggy today. We’ll see what tomorrow brings, as they say. Now back to my living room floor – today I’m going to try and do a little reading, with one of my christmas gifts:

I was wondering where you were. Did you make it down to LI for xmas? I took Stan down to Northport to see the dock and the harbor. He got to play and live with Chesty the yellow lab for 4 days too. Stan enjoyed the trip.

Yeah I was down on LI for several days. I came back early because I could feel that I was getting really sick. The drive back was hell, by the time I got home tuesday afternoon I was a complete wreck.

Well if is any consolation, yesterday I came down with what appears to be a sinus infection. It all comes from the evil island.
I think some of it may be due to the forced hot air heating system this house has. Not my favorite type of system to be sure. I am going to change the filter and get a humidifer and see if that helps.
Feel better. I saw Soolin on the living room cam yesterday. Playing with something, but I couldn’t tell what.

Xmas present from my dad, it’s great. For all that folks like to knock ikea, they make really good inexpensive furniture. As to the infection, that sucks, it’s no consolation though ;-(
