I happened across a notable quote today that I first encountered in college. It’s from Tom Robbins, and it goes like this:

Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature.

I love that line, being playful, rebellious, and hopelessly immature myself 😉
