Re-design all set

Bet you were surprised when you saw this 😉

I took the day off from work on Friday because of my chest and spent almost the entire day working on the site’s design. I’m reasonably pleased with how it’s turned out. Let me know if you find anything broken.

I can’t decide what’s next – upgrading the moveabletype software, installing a Wiki, working on the various application templates so they inherit the new design (things like the gallery and andromeda pages), or working on the ancillary scripts like the image rotation and file listings. If anyone has any strong preferences leave a comment for me.

    Hmm, it was unintentional. Mostly I was inspired by this site and I wanted something brighter, some folks had commented that the old site was dark. I like blues so I kept as much blue around as I could while brightening up the main screen.

    I do see what you mean though now that you mention it, it does look like an inside page in a newspaper. Wait, I just need to insert some ads for it to be perfect 😉

    Oh yes, popup hell here we come! I just signed a contract with ‘ad annoyance.org,’ they’re going to run an altoids campaign on my site with flash popups that play a little 30 second movie. And just think, every time one of you guys watches it, I will get 1/10th of a cent! Waterfront mansion here I come, get clicking you slackers!
