Why does my 240 gram portion of yogurt contain 42 grams of sugar? It’s just ridiculous. We’re all going to end up diabetic if we continue to eat like this. I remember reading about the romans and how, not knowing any better, they ate and drank from lead tableware, leading to lead poisoning, birth defects and so on. The difference is, we know better. That much sugar as a portion of food intake is just plain bad for you, and yet it pervades our foodstuffs, breakfast lunch and dinner. It’s out of hand.
End mini-rant. I’m switching to plain yogurt since I can’t seem to find any other low or no sugar kind.
